Update from the Trustees of NewSPAL: Saturday 6th October 2018
New Surrey Performing Arts Library - Progress Meeting - at Leatherhead More than 60 people attended Saturday morning's meeting to hear about progress on setting up a new performing arts library for Surrey and the South of England. Those present were able to view a layout for possible premises offered by Woking Borough Council, in the centre of the town, close to on-street parking and a multi-storey car park. Plans include:
There are still many details to be finalised, but the meeting was unanimous that the Trustees should continue their work and seek SCC Cabinet approval this Autumn. |
