Matthew Chin
British based violinist Matthew Chin leads a rich musical life as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player throughout Europe and Asia. He was born in Hong Kong, and is a recent graduate of Mozarteum University of Salzburg, HEMU Lausanne and Geneva.
Mentors have included Pierre Amoyal, and Svetlin Roussev. Scholarships and awards during the period include Thomas Edward Wilson Scholarship (UK), MBF (UK), Ida Caroll Prize (UK), Helen Porthouse Paganini Prize UK, Tarisio Grant UK, Max D Jost Foundation (CH), Lalive Foundation (CH), ‘Association des Amis du Conservatoire de Lausanne’ (CH).
He has received top prizes in the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition (UK), Internationale Anton Rubinstein Wettbewerb (DE), 1st CullerArts International Violin Competition (ES), 8th International Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition (BE), Concerto Competition Winner in Pablo Casals Festival (FR) and Atlantic Coast International Young Soloist Competition, (PT), Musicus Society Young Concert Artist Audition (HK).
Performances in 2022 included Gstaad Menuhin Festival Switzerland, Musicus 10th Anniversary Festival, Mozart’s 5th Violin Concerto with Capella Istropolitana (Slovakia), Mayfield Festival (UK), Guest Principal 1st Violin for Royal Northern Sinfonia and English Chamber Orchestra.
Venues have included Royal Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, Sage Gateshead, Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic and Hong Kong City Hall to name a few.
Previous Highlights have included Concertmaster Moritzburg Festival Orchesta (DE), Aurora Chamber Orchestra (SE) and Concertos in Pablo Casals Festival (FR), Musicus Festival (HK) and Recitals in Sevcik International Festival (CZ), International Holland Music Sessions Festival (NL), United Nations Palais (CH) as well as playing regularly with Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (CH) from 2017-20.
Upcoming 2023 highlights include Musicus Soloists concerts in Bauhaus Museum Weimar and Berlin Konzerthaus Germany, Tenerife International Music Festival and solo recitals at Royal Greenwich Charlton House, St Anns Kews, St Olaves London and St Margarets Putney.
Matthew is currently playing on a Michele Deconet violin made in 1750, kindly on loan from Tarisio Auctions.

Eunji Han
Eunji Han performs extensively throughout Europe in such prominent venues as Petit Palais, Paris, Opéra de Lyon, St Bride’s Church, London. She has been invited to festivals including Festival Culturel International de Musique Symphonique d’Alger (Algeria), Les Allées Chantent (France), A casa de Aldán (Spain) and Lavaux
Classic Off (Swizterland).
Eunji has appeared on Radio Télévision Suisse for her constant research of French women composers, Lili and Nadia Boulanger. Her passion for contemporary music led her to found Ensemble Dimensions where she premiered young composers' works and held an education project for schools. Eunji is also a founding member of Hope Trio, which rediscovers classical Piano Trio repertoires with Oboe, Cello and Piano.
She studied at Ewha Womans University (South Korea), Conservatoire de Lyon, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (France), Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (Switzerland), and Royal Academy of Music (UK), generously supported by Royal Academy of Music and ADAMI France and Mécénat Musical Société Générale.
She has also taken opportunities for masterclasses with Graham Johnson, Helmut Deutsch, Jeff Cohen, Hartmut Höll, John Fiore, Billy Eidi, Anne le Bozec, Laurent Cabasso, Sontraud Speidel, Françoise Thinat and Sharon Boaz.
Eunji is the laureate of the Concours International de la Mélodie de Gordes and Young Artist Fellow at Aigues-Vives en Musique (France), Oxford Lieder and Leeds Lieder Young Artist.

For the Beethoven we have a recording by two members of Camerata Pacifica a chamber music ensemble based in Santa Barbara that performs a monthly series of concerts in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Marino, and Zipper Hall in Downtown Los Angeles. Founded by Adrian Spence in 1990, the group is composed of the finest performers of chamber music from around the world.
