Marisol Lee, violin
Violinist Marisol Lee was
born in Seoul in 1987, started learning violin at the age of five, attended
Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, graduated with top marks and
got Music Awards including "Sinsujeong Scholarship", the prize that
brings honor to Yewon & Seoul Arts High School. She entered Seoul National
University at the top of her class.
In 2006 she transferred to Germany in Munich National College of Music and in 2012 she was awarded the “Dowager Viscountess Rothermere Scholarship” to enter The Royal Academy of Music, London. From the age of 8 she has won more than a dozen competitions in Korea. In foreign countries she has continued to win prizes in Germany, United Kingdom, and China and she was awarded the “Stennebruggen-Prize” which is selected by orchestra members for the best soloist in the Carl Flesh Academy in Baden-Baden, Germany. Also she was selected as the scholarship student in Foundation ‘Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben’ in Hamburg/Germany, received ‘Antonio Stradivarius’ 1703, Cremona” for 3years by March 2013.
She was guest performer as the first musician of the New Year in Kumho Young Artist New Year's Concert Recital in 2011, and followed this with many further recitals at home and abroad. She has also played as soloist with numerous international orchestras including Kammerakademie Orchester, Baden-Baden Philharmonie Orchestra, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie(Belgium), Beijing Symphony Orchestra and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has participated in a number of festivals, including the international Chamber Festival in Miyazaki, Japan, Music Alp Festival in Seoul and Chamber Festival in Schaffhausen, Switzerland as Korean representative, and also attended Switzerland’s Sion Summer Academy for three years in a row, Baden-Baden Carl Flesh Academy, Liechtenstein Music Festival and Haus Marteau Academy. At present she is committed to a number of performance activities in Europe and Korea. Marisol Lee plays a violin by Stradivarius "Kustendyke" 1699 on loan from the Royal Academy of Music, where she is studying for her MA in Performance. Her teachers have been Jong-Suk Lee & Sang-Hee Kwon and also Mi-Kyung Lee and Ingolf Turban in Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater, Munich. She currently studies with Maurice Hasson.

Jooyeon Chang, piano
Piano Accompanist Jooyeon Chang has worked with a number of great international soloists and performed at several international music festivals in Korea and in Europe. She has also featured in several radio and TV programmes.
Jooyeon is currently completing an MA in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music, London, having already completed music studies in Korea and in France.
