LMC has level access throughout. It is easy to accommodate a wheelchair - we just whip out a chair and you can sit with the friends you came with.
Location: LMC is close to Leatherhead town centre, in the one-way section of Church Road, but it has only limited disabled parking on-site.

The nearest car park is further along Church Road, behind the Parish Church Hall KT22 8BD - a minute's stroll from LMC. If it's full, the multi-storey is the best alternative.

Fire and Iron - the gallery for metal art - can be found on the Oxshott side of Leatherhead, close to the Eastbound M25 Junction 9.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 5pm (except August and January, see website) this visit will add something very different to your day out. You will find Fire and Iron pieces in the street scenes of both Leatherhead and Dorking. Look up as you enter an alleyway, or take a look at the ironwork at Leatherhead's North Street/High Street junction, opposite Nationwide. |
The magnificent house and gardens of Polesden Lacey (National Trust) are just three miles from the centre of Leatherhead, off the A426 Guildford Road.
The house, gardens, coffee shop, and café are open until 5pm (4pm in winter). There is so much to see and to do at Polesden - fancy a game of croquet? Just click on the picture to explore what's on offer. |
Further along the A246 you will find Hatchlands Park. A classic country house, with fine landscaped gardens, this is the home of the Cobbe Collection of Keyboard Instruments. The 1750s house, with its fine Robert Adam features, is open from April to October, while the gardens and café remain open all year round. Click on the picture to read more and to plan your visit. |
National Trust beauty spot Box Hill is just three miles from Leatherhead along the road to Dorking.
