Yair Avidor gave a very well-received lunchtime concert, arranged literally at the last minute, when one of the previously booked duo was unwell. The small voice of the theorbo, accompanied in one piece by Jenny's bass viol, was a delight to hear in our church. One wonders when was the last time a member of the lute family was played here. |
