Sungbin ChoSungbin Cho, the brilliant winner of the London International Guitar Competition 2021, comes from Seoul, Korea. Graduating with a BMus from the Korea National University of Arts, he subsequently served in the Republic of Korea Air Force where he completed his two-year military service. He then entered the Royal Academy of Music to undertake an MA in Performance, with Michael Lewin. He is the first Korean national to study classical guitar at the RAM. |

In a recording from the Teatro Minaz, In Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, we hear the great guitarist Jorge Caballero, playing Tansman's Cavatina. That is followed by his Danza Pomposa played by Andrea de Vitis at the Thessaloniki Guitar Festival, from Piraeus, in 2018.
