Djumash Poulsen, violin
Djumash Poulsen is a British violinist of Kyrgyz (Central Asian) descent. Djumash played with Yo Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble as a child, when they did their tour of the Silk Road trail. This event inspired him to pursue music as a life long passion.
Djumash is active as soloist, chamber recitalist and orchestral musician having performed in major venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Santander Philharmonic Hall (Spain), Royal Festival Hall, Kazakhstani Philharmonic Hall and the CSO Concert Hall (Ankara, Turkey), KKL Hall in Lucerne, Benedict Music Tent in Aspen Colorado. He has also performed at the House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster
Djumash has attended numerous festivals such as Santander Encuentro Festival, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, IMS Prussia Cove, Istanbul & Lucerne Festivals and most recently the Aspen Music Festival.
After studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School he did his Bachelor's at the Royal College of Music. This was followed by a Masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Rodney Friend on a scholarship. He had the privilege of acting as assistant teacher for Naoko Tanaka at the Aspen Festival 2018, where she entrusted him with teaching responsibilities.
Djumash has attended masterclasses with Gyorgy Pauk, Zakhar Bron, Mihaela Martin, Rodney Friend, So Ock Kim, Maxim Rysanov, Thomas Riebl, Orion quartet, Tasmin Little, Philippe Graffin, Daniel Rowland, Heinrich Schiff, David Halen, Naoko Tanaka, Robert Lippsett and many other great musicians.
He regularly plays with the English Chamber Orchestra, and recently acquired a trial with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He held a permanent seat in the Aspen Chamber Orchestra 2018, playing alongside Robert Chen (principal of Chicago Symphony) and with conductors such as Vassily Petrenko.
Djumash plays on an Ettorio Soffretti violin (c1890), kindly on loan from the Harrison Frank Foundation (J&A Beare).

Sebastian Kolin, cello
Cellist Sebastian Kolin was given a place and bursary to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School where he studied with Thomas Carrol, Charles Watt and Marie Macleod.
He has participated in festivals, masterclasses and lessons with Bernard Greenhouse, Leonid Gorokhov, Heinrich Schiff, Gary Hoffman, Johannes Goritzki, Enrico Dindo, Paul Katz, Simon Fontinelli, Carl Schacter, David Eggert and Reinhardt Latzko.
Sebastian has performed across Europe in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland; he has made television and radio appearances in Switzerland and played in many of London's main venues including the Wigmore Hall, Conway Hall, Cadogan Hall, the Menuhin Hall and the Elgar Rooms of the Albert Hall.
Sebastian has also recorded on a CD of new music by Cheryl-Frances Hoade, The Glory Tree, accompanying Leonid Gorokhov in small ensemble for Champs Hill Records.
Sebastian completed his Bachelor of Arts degree studying with Johannes Goritzki and Enrico Dindo in Lugano, Switzerland, at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana whilst also studying with the Cremona Quartet at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona, Italy.

Eran Sulkin, piano
Eran Sulkin, 22 year old pianist from Israel, studies with Prof Ronan OʼHora at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Eran has been an America Israel Cultural Foundation distinguished scholar since 2012. He served in the Israel Defence Forces with the status of an "outstanding musician" and was recently released from duties.
Eran began playing at the age of 11. At the age of 12 he started studying with Ms Natalia Blumenfeld at the Israel Conservatory, Tel Aviv. He is a former student of the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts in Givatayim. Between 2015-2018 Erin studied at the Buchmann Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University with Prof Asaf Zohar.
He took improvisation courses with Rudolf Lutz and David Dolan, and twice took part in “Tel Hai” masterclasses in Sde Boker, Negev. Eran studied chamber music under the David Goldman Program for Outstanding Young Musicians, at the Jerusalem Music Centre and played with his trio for the Israeli Educational Television show Intermezzo with Arik. He has performed at both the Australian and Canadian embassies in Israel.
Eran has performed in concerts in Israel and abroad, including for the Paul Hindemith Foundation in the Joseph Joachim Concert Hall of Universität Der Künst, Berlin (University of the Arts); in Lübeck, Germany, during the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Masterclasses, in Aspen Colorado, USA, in the 2018 Aspen Music Festival, and in the Guildhall Summer Chamber Festival, 2019.
He has won prizes at Israeli national competitions: Israeli Radio Young Artist Competition, in Jerusalem, piano forever in Ashdod, and the Israel Conservatory 1st prize. Eran participated in the International Johannes Brahms Competition, 2018, in Portschach, Austria, where he was a semi-finalist.
Eran has taken masterclasses with Murray Perahia, Cristoph Eschenbach, Menahem Pressler, Andrej Jasinsky, Arie Vardi and Aquilles Delle Vigne.
