Baudino-Vannini Duo
Maurizio Baudino and Dario Vannini both graduated with first class honours from the Conservatory of Cuneo and Avellino where they attended several masterclasses with important maestros.
They owe the improvement of their musical and instrumental education to Maestros G Bandini and G Puddu, who guided them through their successful studies for the Second Level Academic Diploma.
They have won prizes in many competitions, and have performed solo and in chamber ensembles in Italy and Europe, both in radio and tv shows.
Under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Muti, they participated in the opening concert of the 2022 Rome Film Festival. In spring 2023 they premiered works by John Duarte in Norwich (UK) and in Spring 2024 their first album “Ecstasy of colours” will be released by Da Vinci.

Dario Vannini
Born in Naples, Dario Vannini studied classical guitar under the guidance of Maestro Antimo Pedata and graduated at the “D Cimarosa” Conservatory of Avellino. He won many awards, among which the first prize in competitions such as the “Arte a sei corde” in 2006, the “G Rospigliosi”, the “Riviera Etrusca” and “N Paganini” international Festival in 2007.
As a soloist, he has performed in several European countries inclluding France, Austria, Germany, and Italy. In 2005 he met Maestro Giampaolo Bandini and attended masterclasses at the Arts Academy in Rome, at the International Guitar Festival in Ascoli and at the Academy of Parma.
Under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Muti, he participated in the opening concert of the Rome Film Festival. He attended masterclasses with renowned international musicians such as Costas Cotsiolis, Zoran Dukic, Sergio and Odair Assad, Pavel Steidl, and Manuel Barrueco.
He obtained a master’s degree with honors in Composition and Interpretation at the “R Franci” Conservatory, with Maestro Giampaolo Bandini and Maestro Duccio Bianchi.
Eclectic guitarist, ranging from classical to popular music, since 1997 he has increased his theatre performances becoming part of the “I Virtuosi di San Martino” music theatre group with whom he has performed in major Italian theatres including the “Valle”, the “Parioli” and Rome's Auditorium Park of Music, the “Bellini”, “Mercadante” and “Diana” in Naples, the “Puccini” in Florence, the “Filodrammatici” in Milan. He has performed with musicians such as Daniele Silvestri, Avion Travel, Tosca, Peppe Barra, Tullio de Piscopo, and Lina Sastri. Between February and March 2012, he played Kurt Weill's Threepenny Opera with M Ranieri conducted by Maestro F Lanzillotta at the Ravenna Festival in the prestigious “La Fenice” theatre, Venice.
He has worked with notable actors like Amanda Sandrelli, Serena Autieri, Neri Marcorè, the Oscar-winning Toni Servillo, and the actress and singer Ute Lemper. Vannini is also an esteemed teacher; his teaching career in Siena at the “Associazione Culturale e Musicale Diapason” spans more than a decade. Sellenger's Round is first found in John Playford's The English Dancingmaster which he published in 1651. The visual quality of this recording by Dancilla suggests it too dates from that era.
We have been unable to find online any recording of Duarte's composition.
