The Atéa Trio comprises members of the Atéa Wind Quintet, one of the leading London-based ensembles of their generation.
They are students and graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama who have performed throughout the UK in various wind combinations. They have played in venues including St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, and The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. They have also been part of the Cambridge Summer Music Festival, as well as festivals further afield such as the 'Young Prague' festival around the Czech Republic. Individually the trio members have performed as part of the UK's leading orchestras including the Philharmonia, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, English National Opera and English Chamber Orchestra, and with orchestras abroad such as the Japan Chamber Orchestra and Verbier Festival Orchestra.
