BONUS ITEM
Masterclass on the Fantasie in C, Andras Schiff introduces Júlia Hámos, at the Wigmore Hall (1h11m)
Andras Schiff gives a masterclass, at the Wigmore Hall, London. His 'pupil' is Júlia Hámos, a young pianist who played for MoT in the first year of these concerts, November 2012, accompanying violinist Tianyun Jia.
At the time they were both students of the Royal Academy of Music. Their programme that day included Bartok, and of course, Schumann. Schiff's introduction shows his appreciation of Júlia's love and mastery of Schumann.
Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky (1882-1971)

The Firebird L'oiseau de feu (Stravinsky 1910; Agosti 1928) (11mins)

Finale
There are two versions of this performance by Francesco Piemontesi, the usual video, or the same soundtrack with the score running on screen.
In the personal remarks below the video you will find words like power, might, majesty, exuberance.
As another says, "who needs an orchestra when a piano can do all this!"
