In Leatherhead's Lunchtime Concerts you will hear a wide range of student and professional musicians, some new, some returners, some regulars.

Each season brings excellent performances of the familiar, along with some lovely rare finds.
Concerts are usually 35-50 minutes long, with a few lasting up to an hour. You will find an estimate of running time on each concert webpage.

LMC is an ideal space for small-scale concerts such as chamber music, solos, duos, trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, septets, and octets, in early, classical, contemporary music or jazz. The map area shown below is within a mile of Junction 9 on the southern side of the M25, London Orbital Motorway.

Leatherhead is the main town in the north of Mole Valley, with the A24 as part of its bypass. We are on the edge of the Surrey Hills AONB, in the county of Surrey.

Vaughan Williams had a strong and lasting influence on the towns and villages of the Upper Mole Valley. Many have their own choral societies which take part in the annual Leith Hill Musical Festival. LHMF was founded by the composer's sister Margaret in 1905 and he conducted it from then until 1953.

To the south of us lies Denbies Wine Estate which operates tours of the winery and vineyard.

Overlooking Denbies is Box Hill, a summit of the North Downs, and the setting for the 'picnic scene', a pivotal passage of Jane Austen's novel Emma. On a clear day, an excellent viewpoint looks out towards Dorking, Brockham, Leith Hill, and the South Downs, while landings and take-offs at Gatwick Airport can be seen but not heard.
